I have been an educator for most of my career, and look forward to sharing my knowledge about the topics I'm most passionate about through my new life as a freelance writer.

In 2007, I finished a very fulfilling six-year teaching experience as a university lecturer in Thailand. Currently, I am part-time Assistant Professor of Spanish Literature at McGill University (Montreal, Canada).

My degrees (B.A. and Ph.D.) are in Literature, so you're probably most likely to find me in the Reading and Writing section of Suite101. However, I've also taught courses in philosophy and history, so I'll probably be contributing articles to these topics as well.
